3D Assembly Animation: Laser-Cut Mine Headgear Tower Kit
This is a product assembly animation: every part of a laser-cut mine headgear tower kit lifting into place, in order, so that anyone watching understands the build without reading a word of instructions.
What you are watching
The model is a mine headgear tower — the winding structure that stands over a shaft — supplied as a flat laser-cut kit. Flat-pack kits are hard to sell from a photograph, because a photograph of loose parts tells a customer nothing about how they go together or what the finished piece looks like.
The animation solves that in thirty-six seconds. Parts enter in assembly order, each one settling into the position it occupies in the real build, until the tower stands complete. There is no narration and no text, so the same clip works on a product page, in a WhatsApp message to a customer, on a trade stand, and as a paid ad.
Why a business would want one
- It answers the question buyers actually ask. Not "what does it look like" but "can I build this".
- It works without sound. Most people watch on a phone with the volume off.
- It replaces an instruction manual for the part of the job that is hardest to write down: sequence.
- It is reusable. One render becomes a product page video, a social post, an ad, and a support answer.
How it was made
The kit geometry was modelled to the same dimensions as the cut file, so the animated parts are the parts the customer receives — not an artist's impression. Each component was then keyframed along its assembly path, lit, and rendered out. Turnaround on a piece this length is typically a few days once the cut file or CAD is in hand.
